2013 BMW K1600GTL - Dark Graphite Metallic
The BMW K1600GTL represents the top of the line in touring motorcycles. With many new and innovative features, the K1600GTL is setting new standards for high-performance luxury motorcycles. Powered by BMW's revolutionary inline
six-cylinder engine, quick acceleration and all-day cruising are effortless. The smooth-running 1649cc engine
produces 160 horsepower, with 129 lb-ft of torque, and is extremely compact and lightweight for such a powerful
engine. A new e-Gas throttle control system with three power modes provides precise control of engine speed. The
K1600GTL is loaded with safety features like the cutting-edge Adaptive Headlight, which automatically adjusts its
aim to illuminate the road when leaning into a curve, even while the front wheel remains aimed in a straight forward direction. Of course, BMW's Integral Anti-Lock Braking System (I-ABS) is standard equipment. A Dynamic Traction
Control system (DTS) adds stability, and an Electronic Suspension Adjustment system (ESA II) allows suspension characteristics to be easily set for varying road condtions and payload weights. White LED turn signals and an
LED taillight, along with LED fog lights improves the visibility of the K1600GTL for other drivers. Driver and
passenger are surrounded by luxury and comfort features, including electronic cruise control, heated seats and
hand grips, rider and passenger comfort foot pegs, a padded passenger backrest and an electrically adjustable
windshield. A multi-function display and an on-board computer provide the driver with valuable performance and
trip information, including Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM). A multi-function controller allows fingertip control
of all on board systems. Color-matched side cases and a top case with a luggage rack provide plenty of storage
space for long trips. A single-key immobilizer locking system for ignition and luggage, and an anti-theft alarm
system is included. The K1600GTL is equipped with an amazing Bluetooth™ capable audio system, with a radio
tuner, iPod™, and USB integration, and an auxiliary audio input. Also included is a Sirius satellite radio
(with one-year subscription).

6546 Burnet Road Across from Farmer's Market
The Two Wheeled Texans crowd meets every Thursday at Billy's on Burnet billysonburnet.com for lunch, conversation, story telling and maybe a bit of stretching the
truth a bit. After Billy's most of us head up to Hot Rod Coffee Trailer
hotrodcoffeetrailer.com at 6546 Burnet Road for
coffee, desserts, etc. and more of the continued conversation, story telling and stretching the
truth. And some of us wait to eat until we get to Hot Rod Coffee to indulge in some of Ken's
creations. Really good Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs, assorted pastries, even more varieties of Nathan's
Famous Hot Dogs and virtually any kind of Coffee, Latte's, Mochas', etc. you could want. And it's
cheaper than that coffee place from Seattle! And better! And what would be better than to kill time
away from the office with a bunch of biker guys and gal?
So come check it out. Of course you can come any time. I usually stop by for a quick cup of Espresso
on my way to the title office but be sure and make it on Thursday with the Two Wheeled
Texans www.twtex.com. And sometimes some of the Ride Dual Sport
Guys ridedualsport.com join us when they aren't out
playing in the dirt. - Robert K.

Champion motorcycle stunt rider Chris "Teach" McNeil visited Lone Star on Saturday, November 17. He amazed a
large crowd in the Lone Star parking lot by doing things that just cannot be done on a motorcycle. No one in
the crowd could believe their eyes as Teach popped ridiculous wheelies, rode around on the front wheel only,
rode with no hands, rode with no feet, and then spun, hopped, slid, and bounced as if the law of gravity did
not apply to him. CLICK for lots more photos!.
